How long should breeding take?

bpmorphdude Feb 04, 2009 09:22 PM

My ball pythons have been breeding since the end of october and have copulated 13 times until now(feb 4) and the female has shed twice. Is this normally how long it takes or is something going on here? Thank you, steve

Keep an eye on her with this many breeding I would say she should be gravid. If you see signs of ovulation, swelling, bowl hugging, inverted laying, or any other common signs of pregnancy you should remove the male and wait for eggs.
