I sure hope there will continue to be enough responsible snake owners out there to keep these politicans in line.

Well, watching that story, I didn't know that...

A. There are 10s of thousands of Berms in florida.

B. "They just eat and eat everything and then go digest"

Better not hang laundry or let the kids out to play

I don't see a ban going into place because we have FWC. Regulations have been put into place. I do see the posibility of more strict regulations. Regardless it will be fought by many!

I wouldn't plan on them being on your side. The ban would be for interstate commerce of pythons. Remember the Fwc used to let developers bury Gopher toroises for a fee. And just banned Red Eared Sliders.

Not to get too far off topic, but as an FYI:

>> Remember the Fwc used to let developers bury Gopher toroises for a fee.

You CAN still bury them legally! How? The permits were all issued before the ban and are a 'grandfather' type permit. The permits were obtained in a flurry and in MASSIVE numbers just prior to the ban and can be used (from what I know) anytime in the future. No new permits were issued after the ban. It's good to know this can keep on rolling along with all the other nonsense down here...
