Jeff.. or anyone who owns alot of BRB's

Hehe ive had my BRB for about soon 2weeks and shes not showing at all, even though i keep humidity at around 90% in the tank shes just in her hide not showing at all, not even at night.. i don't know if this is normal.. and i don't know how i should do when i feed her either, since shes hiding i have to pick her out of her spaghnum hide to feed her, wich causes additional stress to her..

How would i make the snake the least of stress and still feed her easily?..

From what i have read brazilian rainbow boas shouldn't be too shy .. not as shy as balls anyhow, and my ball is not even close as shy as my BRB is, my ball really wants to know what im doing when im the room .. Except if shes basking after a meal..

Suggestions ?

Stefan,
. BRBs do spend alot of time hiding. Mine are often out at night moving in the cages though. They are the most active after midnight. When I am feeding little ones I take them out of their cages and place them in deli cups or rubbermaid or sterilite shoeboxes with the food. This handling does not seem to inhibit their feeding response. Most of the little ones will eat everytime it is offered.

Well i don't know if i stated it earlier, but mine isn't so little, shes about 8months old, but shes not very long, about 2foot 4inches or so .. isn't she a bit small for her age ?

The breeder i bougth her from was going to use them for breeding but he didn't have room for the 20 he bought, so he sold about 6.. well he's feeding the 8months old he got , with medium mice, and also thats quite weird, since a adult mouse is about the girth of the snake, if you just squeeze it abit to get the "fluff" away..
Is there any advantage in feeding them small prey's ?
