One of my pairs has started breeding! These 2 are ch from a female caught gravid. I got them from Kevin Fisher. Here are a few pics for you guys

congrats. You did a great job raising those guys but WOW! This is way early for breeding. Wild simus breed late may through June. How long did you brumate for??

I cooled them for 2 months, Oct. & Nov. My storage room is too cold the rest of the winter for southerns I think.

Wow, 2 months is on the short side. In FL, simus are generally not seen from Nov-the bginning of April. I have had low fertility in years where I didn't brumate my simus for at least 12 weeks. Please keep us updated. I should have 4 -5 adult females going for me this year.
