New to Collareds and this Forum

RMCADguy Feb 05, 2009 05:56 PM

Hello everyone, I am Phil, no stranger to the Chuck forum, but this is a first for me here in the Collared forum. I just picked up two juvi Yellow Heads from Nick and Austin Dokai today. A little pair. I am going to try my luck with raising and eventually breeding them. And hopefully I can gain more knowledge about them here along with other sources. Here is a quick pic of the male of the two.

Hey Phil! Good to see you over here!

That is a very cute little guy! Did Nick and Austin give you care tips?

Oh yes very many care tips indeed, Nick and Austin are both so knowledgeable, I got a lot of info, but anymore would be greatly appreciated. They are both chowing down on bugs so, so far so good.

Nice to have ya here, pull up and chair and sit a spell, lol

Just like those awesome chucks, the collareds are super COOL to keep as pets. You will love them, and probably always have them from now on. You will get wrapped up in the colors and patterns/species, and those incredibly adorable lil baby faces that come later,

Best wishes with your yellows, I keep a nice group, awesome color. Your youngster in the pic is a real stunner

CUTE shot, pics welcome here to the point of saturation, hehehhehee.

And collareds always look like they are smiling, don't they?

PHEve Feb 06, 2009 04:11 PM

THEY ARE Donna SMILE all day Mine whistle while they work, sing while they sit, and babble while they bask.

I hear them MOAN when they MATE, hahahaha, LMAO
