What Morph?

indictment Feb 05, 2009 10:54 PM

Can somebody confidently tell me what morph this Brooks King is?

I've had the morphs "Tpositive Red Albino", "Lavender", "Hypo", and "Snow" all suggested. This wide myriad of names as left me even more confused, as I was just calling it an albino. I feel very confident that it is not a hypo, but I've been wrong in the past

Any takers?

Its a lavender. In Brooks/Floridana, T albino, lavender, lavender albino, and albino all usually refer to the same morph.

There is another albino morph that's not as prevalent, which is usually referred to as a T- negative albino, and has a different look from the one you have pictured above.

Those patterns look like my desert kings. Do albino desert kings exist?

viandy Feb 08, 2009 07:13 PM

Yes, albino desert kings exist. I know there are three morph available -- axanthic, hypo, and albino. Don Shores produces very nice ones.
Both of these are normals I got from him. Well, one is het axanthic, but you can't tell by looking.
