Monday morning, when I turned on my gecko's lighting system, I stumbled upon one of my leos obviously beginning to lay her eggs. She had the hole dug and had her vent resting right on top of it. I must have startled her, because she went for cover under one of the hiding rocks, leaving nothing behind. She is very very large and obviously needs to pass her eggs. Problem is, she still hasn't since that morning shown any interest in laying them. Did my invasion of her privacy affect her in anyway, and what if she goes a few more days without laying them? I'm going to call the vet if someone thinks that this could lead to a problem, or can they put it off for a few days before having them? Please help!
