helix and room temp question?

i have my collection in a cool room around 55 my question is my helix is set at 98 and my tubs are getting around 90 as the temps in my room start to get warmer dues to thhe outdoor wheather temps are getting warmer will that affect my tub temps getting higher than 90?? thank you !

55 is COLD for ambient temp!! What is the temp in the front of your tub -- and the back of your tub on the BOTTOM of your rack. Put a temp gun on your snakes to find out what temps they areas well.

Yes, the heating element is controlling the temps at this point and not the helix. The helix is set higher then the heating element can handle, due to your low room temps.

When your room temps warm up enough to allow your heating element to reach the desired temps, the helix will control the heat and turn down the power so it will not overheat.

The problem right now is the ambient room temps are very low.
