Dad and his offspring

mack1time Feb 08, 2009 11:09 AM

I took Menelaus out today for some alone time and decided to take some photos with my Favorite motley offspring of his.

He sired a healthy litter almost 2 weeks ago consisting of 18 Live and 1 stillborn. So right now he is my main Man! He was in shed but still looking great.

Very interesting to see that none of the motleys have his classic circle motley pattern but all the neonates have an unusual square , blotchy broken up - pattern. Also only 1 has a laddertype tail like the Dad, the rest are entire stripes! Another interesting fact is that all the motley's have white tongue tips, including the father but his are not as noticeable.

Here are some photos, as always

The aforementioned tongue

Man that is one awesome pattern on the little one, it will be interesting to see in a couple of years.
