i was wondering if i could get some folks on here to post pictures of them holding their ackies so i could get a good idea on adult sizes of them. ive been looking into them but some info is scarce. i see sizes all over the place from 14 inches to 3 foot long. also i was wondering about caging sizes for them as well photos would also be appreciated of enclosures.

It appears you have good information, ackies are adults from around 14inches(plus or minus an inch or so), and they do get a little over 3 feet. So there you go. Your cages will have to reflect the size your care allows your monitors to get.
That is, if you have/want big ones, give them big cages and lots of food. If not, don't feed them and give them small cages. All in all, the bigger the cage the better for the monitor and more fun for you. Cheers
