Male combat pic's This is COOL!!!

Joel_Thomas Feb 08, 2009 04:32 PM

The original male in with the girl courted her about 5 days ago, and then just stopped, so as I was cleaning cages I decided to put another larger male in with them. As stated in yesterdays post this really woke the original male up, they both ended up under the light and for a brief second looked like they were entering a neck twist.

The two boys started to posture at each other both seeming to try to get higher than the other (check out post from yesterday titled male combat)

The night time drop kicked in and all was calm, when the lights came on this morning, they went right back to it and this time there is with no question lots of neck wrapping and twisting among each other.

I got what I asked for but they have not even so much as touched the female and I feel they are spending too much energy with each other and probably some stress because in the wild one would possibly be gone already.

VERY COOL!!! I had this happen with two albino males. I just pulled one after a day of them doing exactly that! I put them with their repective females and they went to town. Good luck and great pic!
