A few of my hogs

daneby Feb 09, 2009 12:14 AM

The one on the left is a Yellowstone valley, MT. female from Rich Marquess, & the one on the right is a Cascade County, MT. female I caught on Flood Road.

The one on the left is a nice female red albino I hatched out last year from hets I got from Vin Russo, & the one on the right is a male red albino tiger from Justin Mitcham, hes not too red but he is pretty cool looking.

The one on the left is a Cascade County, MT male I caught on Flood Road. The one on the right is a nice green male.

To the left is a sweet looking Cascade County, MT male I caught on the Big Bend Ranch. & to the right is a nice Yellowstone Valley, MT male from Rich Marquess.

The one with the faded pattern is a female caught in Prarie County, MT. The other is a nice non locality normal.

Thanks for looking,

Dan Eby

Nice hogs! Do you still have the "red" tiger male that is not so red? You never know there could be different shades of red like yellow. I guess it depends on who you ask that is. Just don't ask crayola because they might steer you wrong! LOL

Thanks man

Yeah, I still have him. I dont know for sure, but he might have looked a little red as a fresh hatchling, his certificate does say red albino so I'm sure thats the case.

Well, if you have it certified than that's red. No way anyone would miscertify something like that. It makes me wonder about my hogs now. Red or not red that is the question!!

Yeah that male wasn't the best red but his dad was an extreme and that pattern is killer. Altrhough I think the Tiger pattern is more of a line trait than anything else...but who knows what it will be in a few generations..nice pics Dan

..the pattern makes it red? I'm just trying to figure this out because I have some with that pattern. The ones I picked up are a much darker pattern color does that mean anything special? I will post some pics later. I have to run and do some errands and do a little work. Thanks for any help in advance!!

Actually no, his father was an extreme red albino, so he's half that lineage..I can't remember who the mother was but it is listed on the Cert..as a hatchling he was nice and had some red to him.. But his color wasn't the best and has faded a bit since, but if bred to a nice red animal he will produce some very pretty babies. This is why he was labeled such on the certificate. Sorry for the confusion.
