Ice Storm Survival Video.

KE Feb 09, 2009 06:51 PM

All,
We were hit hard by the ice storm here in Kentucky. I was able to get by and did not loose a single kingsnake or any other snake for that matter.
Things got crazy here in some places and there are people in KY who still do not have power. Theives roamed the streets in groups where entire city blocks had homes that had been abandoned. I had a generator...and people tried to steal it, but I was ready for them and whatever else came my way.
I hope that this video can be put to good use. If this is the wrong place for it I apologize. I only intend to share how I saved my snakes, including both morph and locality kings, during a natural disaster. I give kingsnake.com and anyone else permission to use this video for educational purposes only.

Thanks and here is a link:

how civilization breaks down and people revert back to the animals they truly are when they lose electricity for a couple days... Sometimes I watch the news and wonder how much we actually evolved away from monkeys...

Sometimes when people have a chance to get something for nothing they will take advantage.Cabbage Will knows that and he is ready.
Others will be there to help though we are not all bad.

I don't need to lose electricity to revert to an animal.
Just turn the lights out, thats all I need.

I know people will take advantage of any situation they think they can, its just really sad sometimes... I'm just glad I have guns and the means to take care of myself incase of natural disaster...

If you've paid any attention to any of my posts ever though, you'd have realized that I am an extremely cynical individual...

Great video Will! Sounds like you've had a rough time out there lately. Glad that you, your family, and your snakes are doing just fine, though!

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
