Yacko missed his rat tonight, bit himself and constricted for 5 minutes before he let himself go....

My what big teeth you have!!!

He's about to shed and you can see some pulled loose deeper on his right upper jaw (just under his eye in pic)

I always wonder why they don't realize they have a mouthful of themselves right away when I see one of these pics. I mean, obviously getting bitten by those teeth hurts, and presumably it would feel at least somewhat different than a rodent fighting back...

Nice pic, I went ahead and forwarded this one on to my brother who is currently watching my BRBs while I'm in Europe. He is a little less "snake friendly" than myself or atleast not nearly as used to them as I am so I'm sure he's just going to love seeing what kind of teeth these snakes are packing!! Ha, great shot thogh...

Serenity did this just the other day. They really aren't very smart animals, otherwise you'd think they would catch on that they have a mouthful of themselves.
