wen i put a shobax full of vericmite for my lizard to lay her eggs wich she may not have she started eating it!!! Should i be patient and keep it in their?

Normally the laying box substrate is a mixture of peat dirt and sand, in a large plastic rubbermade bin.
Vermiculite is used to incubate eggs in.
Beardies can be pretty particular where they lay their eggs. How big is your beardie? A shoe box doesn't give her much room.

you can use vermiculite for the laying bin also. That's what I used and it worked just fine.

what makes you think she is gravid? what do you mean by eating it? is the box easy for her to get into and out of?
