A Few Questions

SchizotypalVamp Feb 11, 2009 06:35 PM

I am(hopefully) setting up a new habitat for Reed Frogs, and has a couple questions

1) I want to use spray black polyurethane foam

to create a background. After curing, is any other sealant required? The cage will be medium/low humidity.

2)I've heard you can use plants from home depot and such in a terrarium after vigorous washing. Is this true?

Thanks!

No other sealant is required for the black waterfall foam. People use it in aquaria with no additional sealant.

And yes, you can wash plants and then use them in cages. I usually remove them from the dirt and wash roots and all and then repot in fresh soil.
