Relapse

I'm taking my sav back to the vet again tonight. He's eaten twice since surgery but hasn't eaten since last week. He still hasn't defecated.

There's also been some behavior changes that have me very worried. He's not drinking. He's not basking at all. His rear right leg has swollen up to probably 2-3X normal size and his pelvic region looks...off? It's asymetrical. I tried to feel for broken bones, but nothing felt broken or soft or anything. He can't right himself if he gets on his side or back. When he stands, he looks like he's weaving on his feet. Post surgery I gave him his baytril like the vet said, soaked him like the vet said, every other day for 10-20 minutes to help him rehydrate. I upped the temp and the humidity after the mess last time and had hoped that would be enough. Other ideas?

Is he just getting sick from old age do you think? In other words you can't really do much else then you are already doing?
