sand preperation

Hello i am getting a new beardie tomorrow and i was curious on the sand prep. what do i have to do or can i just dump it in?

If the beardie is 10" or longer, sand OK. Just sift it through some type of screen to get any larger pebbles out. Get washed playsand (for sandboxes).
If you are getting a baby dragon, it needs to be on paper towel, butcher's paper or newspaper.
