First feed

Got this guy in last Tuesday. Today was feeding day so I popped in a small rat just to see how he did. He looked interested so I reached in with the hook and jiggled it. BANG! A hit and wrap!

Glad to be over that hump. Left my camera at the shop so I was using my wife's camera so the shots look a little different than what I am used to seeing. You get the idea though.

Thanks for looking.

That's a FLRT, right? Nice light color, a beautiful snake. I definitely agree about feeding, always relieved when it eats on the first try.
I don't post that much but I'm always checking this forum. Love to see your Surinams!

give up television - 100% cold turkey. Leave what isn't real and go to what is real.
Spend time with nature, see the ground and the sky, feel your place on this earth,
see the trees, the plants, birds, animals, feel their life. And feel your own life.

I check them two to three times a day when I have them in quarantine, and I am always relieved when they take that first meal.

Good luck and again nice animal.
