Did I miss a post about the Ghost CRB? If so darn, if not lets start one.

Very nice!! And Dave the colors of that snake remind me a little of fluffy's color now.

Its amazing how different species of Ghost morph look so different but the same genes are at work.

Thanks!

I've seen and held one of the Ghost CRB's and it's pretty darn cool!!!

But, your statement -

"Its amazing how different species of Ghost morph look so different but the same genes are at work."

Is actually incorrect in this case and not really your fault. The "Ghost" CRB is a single gene genetic morph. Not the typical dual morph of Hypo and Anery. IMO "Ghost" is not the correct name for it even though it looks like other species hypo/anery animals.

Thanks,

LOL, to many snakes to list, last count:
26.49 BRB
20.21 BCI
And those are only the breeders

Then at least in my opinion it shouldn't be called a Ghost, its confusing to those only in "the know". A shame the article didn't go into greater detail about the snake.

Thanks for the info Dave!

The Reason we call it a ghost rainbow boa is because thats the best way to describe it. The snake looks like a ghost, not just the trait "ghost" but an actual ghostly version of a CRB. Thats just the name it got stuck with even before I purchased the project. If you wanted to call it by its genetic trait then I guess you can call it an axanthic. But not all morphs have the obvious names. look at pk's striped albino bcc. Its not even a strip trait, it just throws out more color in the tail. I think kevin from N.E.R.D has the right idea of naming new ball morphs crazy names like "mind eraser 2.0".
anywho its just a name. the Important thing is the snake itself.
