between the older reptisun 5.0 bulbs and the new 10.0's? Let me know if you have used both, and if you noticed any difference between the two. I dont need uvb readings, and I know that you can place the 10.0's higher/further away from the dragons, but im curious if anyone noticed actual differences in the animals after switching. Just looking for opinions.

I haven't used 5's since my first bearded dragon I bought roughly 7 years ago now. But back then when I switched from the 5's to the newly available 8's I noticed a significant difference in both color and activity in my dragon.
I definitely think its worth getting the higher rated UVB bulbs when at all possible, not to mention taking them out into direct sunlight weather permitted, for a half hour a day or so.
