Housing Trios

Johnzie Feb 14, 2009 01:17 PM

I have a pair of '06 Jamps (6' and 7') living together in a 632 Vision and would like to introduce a '08 0.1 Albino Retic. Right now she is much smaller (4') and about a tenth of the weight. Is this OK or should I keep her separate until she is a similar size or bigger? I always feed separately.

ThankS!

I would avoid a trio in that cage it would start getting a little cramped. Personally i wouldn't even keep a pair together in a 6 foot cage execpt for breeding but i guess there is worse things you could keep a pair together in.

if you plan on breeding, its a better idea to keep all breeders separate until breeding time and introduction. the reason being, in the wild they dont stay together. when its their breeding season, they "find" each other breed and go about their merry way.
