HALOGEN FLOOD BULBS or Ceramic Heat

I bought a cage from calientedragons. i was wonder what bulb should i use for the baskin light?

The halogen flood bulbs are fine for a basking spot. Ceramic heat emitters should never be used for a basking spot as they produce no visible light at all and dragons need the brightness as well as the heat. Ceramic heat emitters are best for providing supplemental heat at night if room temperatures drop below 65F consistently. Otherwise there is no point using them at all.

Yes, you do not want to use ceramics for the basking bulb - beardies NEED bright white light.

Go with either a halogen or a regular house hold bulb, play witht he watages using a digital thermometer to check the temps until you get them right
