have planned for this spring. Was hoping to start a thread with what garters people are putting togather and/or what they hope to produce.
So, to start it off, I myself am breding 2 males snows to 3 female snows and 2 het Xmas albino radix as well as 1 unknown female radix.
Also 1- 66% het Schuett snow male to unknown 1 female eastern.
and finally 2 males to 2 female double het for snow red sided.
Also hope to produce a few corns and balls, and box turtles, 3 striped mud, and possibly some diamondback terrapins but the female may need one more year, however they have been breeding. Even though this is the garter forum I think its interesting to here what other side breeding projects people may have as well.
The red sided may be too small as well but they have been breeding so we will see.
Hopefully next year some of my other garters will be big enough, but this spring they are just too small.
The snow plains are the most likely to produce for me this year, as the females are all huge. Surprises are always fun though! Best of luck to everyones breeding projects, would love to here what others have cooking?

Well I have a female eastern on loan from a nice gal who wants to see if my male flame will "work with" her.

If not, then my "orange phase"eastern will be the lucky candidate.

Sadly my "red phase" eastern male just died, so that project is down the toilet.

Going to try my male corn with an Eastern milk (cream corn)

Possibly pugets, Have a couple prospective females I may get to work with.

for 2010 (these are just too small right now) snow/flame and Radix (Snow & Christmas)

Have some red radix lined up

My het albino flames have already bred so, I got my fingers crossed.I also put my albino in with my het silver.I have not seen any activity.You cannot even look at my het silver without it getting extremely pissed!I also put my male het albino flame in with my orange eastern I got from don belnap.I really hope that on turns out.

I started my breedings early this year in an attempt to change things up. I have not had much luck in the last couple of years.
With that said these are the breedings I have witnessed so far.
Female flame x albino het to an albino Schuett male
Het for albino female that Lee Hafly produced to the albino Schuett male.
Another het from Lee to a possible het Schuett x erythristic
Albino Florida blue female to a het male ( her father )
Ery Florida female to het albino male Florida
The following are some I've paired up but did not witness any breeding yet
Female ery x melanistic to a melanistic male
66% possible het for albino Florida blue to a male het (her father)
And a pair of extremly red Oregon red spots
Most of my snakes are originally from Scott Felzer (Thanks Scott)
If I get lucky with these I will try and post picks
