If you don't mind me asking....Where did you find this one from?
It looks like some holbrooki / splendida intergrades found South of Houston, TX area and North of the south Texas Splendida range..

Very, Very nice specimen, by the way.....

Shoulda read the previous posts. Kansas?!?! Wow! Didn't know they looked like that there. Guess I've got to add another spot to places I'd like to herp in the future.

Kansas has some of the nicest in my opinion, different than Louisiana specks but really nice!

Doug, very nice snake. I am going to Topeka in april to see my wife's family. Guess I am going to have to do a little herping on their property and surrounding area.
