breeding size for leopard geckos

how much does a female leopard gecko have to weigh to be able to breed? mine right now is only 30 grams isnt it atleat 50???

I've heard of females breeding close to 40 grams, but this almost always ends bad and it even stunts the female's growth so it's hardly likely that she will ever reach weights of 55-60 grams if bred to early.

As a rule, I shoot for 55-60 grams, although successful breedings happen all the time in the 50 gram range. But for a virgin female, I really recommend waiting until the 55 gram mark.

I agree with the above, definately wait till she is a bit bigger, i would say 50-60g
