One of those underated but really interesting ratsnakes. They make me think of a mini version of a radiated rat.

Aren't they closely related? Similar head pattern for sure.

They definatly have a similar look about them but there is only one other subspecies of helena. The one I posted is helena helena and the other is helena monticollaris. I've actually been looking for some of the monticollaris for a few years but haven't been able to find any.
