Either one is good. I have had equal success with both. As long as your temps are right, things should be good.

I usually put the boys in the girls tub in the early evening, but I don't think it really matters. What I watch for is low pressure areas moving in. I like to get the males in a little before it rains or the temps start to drop. Good luck, Jeff

on that matter...girl with boy or boy with girl????

I always said it didn't matter and I actually rotate my males, it's just easier....

BUT this year I finally thought of a reason why to do it the other way....

when I put new males into females cage...they can smell the last male that was in there.....and this year I got a male ghost that goes nuts...fighting even with the box walls and himself....didn't do it before...but this year at least I know the other ghost male actually shed in the one girl's cage...so it smells like him alot more...

so...which is better?....when using single pairs it don't matter...when using multiple males...I would say female into male's cage.....
(also that old saying about the male being at HIS home and not having to sniff around in the new place to just be nosey...he can just get down to buissness....)...

For me it does not seem to mater. I usally do it around 5pm so that it is later but not so late that you cannot look to see if the snakes are indeed copulating.

it don't matter....

want one given time it's better?...right after she sheds...

but don't wait...put them together from November till they lay....
