The Suriname wave!!! (pic's)

This pair is certainly one of my most hopefull ones this year, finally the male started showing interest and in a big way. I checked this morning and found them like this, I did not actually see penetration but I did watch as he "waved" his tail! A good sign in my past experiance....fingers are crossed.

"If" they produce I will have a hard time selling any babies, I can only dream what they will look like....you know how that goes LOL...

Smokin pairing! How long did you have them together before he started to show some interest in her?
-----

Joel_Thomas Feb 19, 2009 11:18 AM

I put the male in with her on December the 30th, he showed interest after a couple of days and courting lasted about four days then it shut off for two weeks.

I pulled him out and fed them both med rats and reintroduced him three days later, he went "blue" and that was a long shed cycle for him. He shed on 1-26-09 and only moved with her (no courting) until yesterday.

Good luck to you.

LOL...some males can be "quirky" when it comes to breeding.

Great Job Joel....They are looking nice.

Joel_Thomas Feb 19, 2009 11:20 AM

I am just the bone head that put them together, I hope he is the one who does the "great job".

Thank you and good luck with yours.
