In a knee-jerk reaction to the recent Tiger Retic attack on the toddler, our City Council is trying to quietly enact a ban on all snakes in excess of 8' and certain "exotic" mammals. Ken Foose at Exotic Pets is compiling a data base of local herpers to inform when the hearing or vote (rumors are there will be no preliminary hearing) so we can be a united front of protest.
