Las Vegas City-Wide Ban

vegasbilly Feb 18, 2009 05:35 PM

Alert all Vegas-based herpers you know...in response to a recent 18' Tiger Retic attack on a 3 year old toddler, the city is trying to sneak by an ordinance banning all snakes over 8' and some "exotic" mammals as well. Exotic Pets, a retail store here in Vegas, is compiling a notification list of local herpers and will notify all on it when the ordinance is heard in public chambers. We must all attend! Get to Exotic Pets and join the effort!

All,

I just watched on O'reily, the PETA chic and Bill agree that all wild animals should be banned as pets including boa constrictors and pythons. But Bill thinks domestic animals like dogs, cats and turtles are okay. He must not have gotten the memo from the academics and the conservation organizations about the turtles. The PETA chic held her tongue considerably during the interview. All you liberal haters out there need to be emailing your boy Bill and setting him straight.

We need a spokesperson that will get out there and set the record straight. These fricken yahoos who get all the negative press need to be regulated wisely.

SOMEONE from USARK or some other LEADER on our side PLEASE go on the O'Reily Factor and let him know "He is not looking after the FOLKS".Show/explane how mainstreem reptiles are now.Family's walking around the EXPOS together. The FAMILY'S that are Venders!Old farts like me that ARE NOT on dissabillity because of injury because our hobby has saved us from dispare by being able to work at home. The HERP societies continuing education all over the USA.The money raised for Conservation (hundreds of thousands of dollars at one Expo alone).Reptiles will never fanish off the face of the earth as long as we are around! Ask why PETA doesnt give a rats ass about SNAKES being used for their hides/skins.Rattlesnake round ups, worthless trinkets made of Rattlesnakes heads. His show is seen by more than all the rest like it.Hes #1 He says "Fair and Balanced" Make him prove it.People have been inspired by keeping Reptiles.Someone go on there and show him "He's the Pinhead.....Dave Barker! Wayne Hill! Bob Clark! REPTILE MAG.SOS MAY DAY ! Where are you! ........Live free or die......out

Where is the outcry for banning dogs????
Check out these statistics. (Not sure how accurate they
are, but certainly the numbers make sense.)
