Dear Nate, great photos, the 2nd cribo is well done, it is absolutely glowing with health. The new Pseustes looks well, especially for a recent import. The last photo, I don't know what it is, do tell! Ptyas sp. ? Asian rat snake? It looks quick! Thanks for posting, I really know so little about some of these big colubrids...Vic
Vic,
The last snake is Rhamphiophis rubropunctatus or the red beaked snake. A rear fanged snake native to Africa. It seemed pretty mellow all the times it's been out indoors but you take it outdoors and wow. Uber quick and it actually started to hood up.

It's actually the roommates snake.

Great pics. Seeing those shots in natural light is enough to give me spring fever!

Nice looking animals Nate, I love that yellow! Dan
Those D.c.melanurus are looking great, how old are they now?
Jeremy
Thanks Guys I sure do enjoy these guys!
The female BT is right at two years old and 4.5'ish I got her as a yearling, I don't think she was fed quite enough. She is growing well now.
The male is right at a year old and is around the same length, maybe closer to 4'. He has been fed well! I think they may be ready to go next year but if she's not big enough I'll wait.
Nate
