S373 SURVEY RESPONSES NEEDED!

EricWI Feb 19, 2009 11:20 AM

I saw this on the PIJAC page. You can have the option of completing the survey online or downloading the survey and mailing it to the specified address below.

You can help! PIJAC has developed a survey to gather information on the numbers of people involved with the affected species, including certain financial data, to consolidate into a report showing the scope of interest and economic investment in these species. Please click here to take survey online.

If you'd like to download the survey, please click here. Please return your completed survey to us:

They are all species in the genus Python that would be affected by this legislation.

Seems like they're getting confused. Timors(not found on Timor), and Angolans which are almost never imported will be banned, but Carpets, Aspidites, Liasis and Ringed will be allowed??? Who's running the ship?

It appears to me that S373 is only covering the genus Python.
H.R 669 is more lengthy though and looks as if it will encompass many more species.
