So, I have several of the Boaphile's double Ranco thermostats, and one of them suffered failure at the hand of a power surge. It was showing an error code on one of the two t-stats.

I called Jeff to ask about the code, and instead of telling me that I needed to buy another unit, he explained how I could convert my double into a single. Then, when I said I would replace the double when I could afford it, Jeff reminded me that I could simply buy a single and pair it up with the functional single I had left over.

That's twice in a single phone call that Jeff could have sold me something, but instead, he served a customer long after the initial sale. That's one of the reasons I love dealing with Jeff Ronne.

Not only that, but he is ALWAYS a fun guy to talk with.

Thanks Jeff, and if anyone is in the market for caging, heating, thermostats, etc., and of course Baos, you cannot go wrong with the Boaphile!

SEVERAL years ago I bought a snake rack from Jeff. It had the heat going down the back and I was skeptical as to whether the rack would be warm enough being heated that way as opposed to under the tubs. Turns out it was not. I surrounded all sides of the rack except the front of course with 1/2" foam insulation as well as the top and bottom of the rack and it still wasn't warm enough. I mentioned it to Jeff and he said he was looking into that problem as others had mentioned it to him before. He said he was working on making new racks with wider heat tape.
I said I'd buy one when they were ready and wouldn't you know he told me to keep the old rack and he sent me a new one for free!!!
