i want to buy a 6 foot strip of flex watt and put it on my countertop down stairs in my basement i know how to wire it up and everything but do i just hook it up and plug it then im done? do i need a "dimmer" to control the temps? and where would i put it and how do i install it? i would only buy a 4 inch wide strip so the temps shouldnt be too high, should they?
