BRB Pictures - DUW

waspinator421 Feb 21, 2009 12:24 AM

It has been too long since I have shared new pictures of my BRBs here. These aren't the greatest pictures, as I can't get any natural sunlight being its below freezing outside. Some didn't turn out too bad though.

First up is Tangerine, a 2008 Pearl Male. Most of the Pearl line babies only want to eat live right now, so here he is eating a live peach fuzzy. Yes, I know it's too small but that is what the store had at the time.

This one is Jet, a 2008 Pearl line male. He has awesome color, which the pictures don't show well. He is also twice the size of his littermates, since he eats very well.

Here is Beryl, a 2007 Pearl male.

This is 08TD09, a 2008 Pearl line male with awesome crescents. He is one of the few from the Pearl line group that I am not holding back, though that was not an easy decision to make.

Here is Slate, a 2007 male with a second row of crescents.

This lovely lady is Sable. She's grown into a big girl, and hopefully will be producing some babies this year.

This is Russet, a nice orange 2007 male.

Here is Quince, a female with a nice squiggle down her back. She's not quite as bright as the picture suggests.

This handsome fellow is Obsidian, a Hypo male who should get to see some action in 2010!

Ths is Lilac, a nice looking 2007 female. Looks like she rubbed her head on something.

This big gal is Copper. She has grown quite a bit since the little tiny thing that showed up at my door a while back. She has lost most of her orange, though her color is an interesting creamy brown. It's hard to capture without natural light.

Here is Chocolate, a late 2008 female with a neat neck pattern.

This gal is Amethyst, an intesley light orange to orange-yellow female. I was hoping to have her up to size for this years breeding season, but she only eats when she wants to so she's growing more slowly. She's almost up to size, but just not quite there yet.

And lastly here is Paisley, my 2007 aberrant female. I shared these pictures already, but here they are again anyway.

Aubrey,
...Those are some outstanding looking BRBs. Right now I am wondering if anyone has a female pearl that is as well marked and "pearly" as your males and other pearl males I have seen. My one pearl BRB is a male and it is from the same bloodline as yours.
Jeff

Jeff... the breeder says that the are usually male when they are born. I have one female that has nice Pearls, though.

I know Dave has some nice females too.

Hey Aubrey,

Great pictures! Obsidian looks fantastic. I see he still has the pitchfork.

My favorite might be Russet though. I'm a sucker for nice, thin, bright crescents like that.

Thank you Mike! Yeah, I love that pitchfork... I hope it stays there even when he gets real big.

Aubrey,

Looking GREAT. The pic's are awesome IMO. Your BRB's are turning out beautiful as they mature and I would keep that one pearl little one, I know you can't keep them all LOL>

Looks like we will be seeing babies from your snakes in the future.

Thanks,

Thanks for the kind words Frank! I hope I'll have babies this year, especially after one of my females faked me out last year. I have 9 females paired up this year, so hopefully at least one of them will drop babies!
