For fischeri you will definitely want to check them out. By fogger I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean an ultrasonic fogger or a cooling mist maker such as for porches that run off a garden hose? You can get an ultrasonic room humidifier for about $40 that will last longer and be easier to keep clean (you'll have to de-mineralize the unit regularly if your water is hard and keep it from developing bacterial sludge in the reservoir). Get a good quality digital humidity gauge. Control the fogging cycles with a plug in lamp timer that allows several run cycles per 24 hours. They will really help keep the humidity up between spraying, but you will most likely have to spray for drinking at least once a day. Ultrasonics don't produce heavy dripping, more like a saturating fine fog. If you choose the mist maker it will wet the cage down more, but you will have to deal with more runoff and drainage.
thanks for your help man, yeah i meant the ultrasonic fogger i guess, like the ones you find at pet stores, found it interesting since this specie requires a lot more humidity and wasn't sure if that was the best option to supply that, specialy now when winter comes, saw some for about 36$ ,are they worth it? but since the room humidifier is a lot more reliable, guess i'll better go with one of those, actualy i even have one here but it's quite big , i'll make a test and aim it straight to the cage right now, let's see how it goes..
Take care!
I've used some of the pet store "foggers" (ESU and Tropical Cloud) and found that they don't last too long if used frequently day after day. But, this was about 3 years ago so maybe there are some newer ones out. I switched to ultrasonic room humidifiers as the technology was the same and they seem to be more reliable. They also used to be cheaper. They can fill a large cage with fog in a few minutes. Evaporative humidifiers need replaceable filters and don't create that nice mist.
