I just got a what i was told is male. Pure irian jaya carpet python for free. Its an adult 3 to 4 feet. I read a care sheet on it. Care sheets are ok. Ive got a few books on them as well. In my python and boa library. Just need to read up tomorrow. But hes setup by the caresheets requirements for tonight. But you guys who have been working with carpets for a long time. Know their behaviors and things that just arent in care sheets. So im hoping i will be welcomed to this forum. And you guys can give me some good info. I have been wanting to get into carpets for awhile. Just moneys been tight lately. I plan to get a mate for this one. I have bred other types of pythons but not carpets. No experience with them. I found this guy or girl i havent probed it yet. Local guy wanted a adult male normal ball python for it. And i produced the ball and raised it myself. And i breed my own feeders. So didnt cost me anything. But hes a stunner i love him or her already. Anyway hope to meet some new friends. Learn some good tips with you all. If any of you all have Aol. Im addicted to pythons and boas. I breed some every year. And have plans to be a commercial breeder someday. But still maintain a personal collection as well. This is what i love doing.
