I was given approx 4-5 yr old fem in pretty good condition and health by a guy I work with(His wife made him give it up). He fed it crickets only once a week and greeens about twice a week, the rest of the time she ate pet store bought BD pellets. Also he was using improper UV lighting. The bulb he gave me with his setup was an aquarium light that he had been using for a couple of years. Amazingly enough she looked great and actually laid over 50 eggs over three clutches now. She has been fettingthe proper diet and Uv lighting now for about a year. recentlyI have noticed her starting to turn very light and with her last shed she has what i can best describe as patchy pigmentation loss parts of her back and legs. Almost Leucistic looking. Could this be from her late exposure to reptisun 10.0 bulbs. She isnt showing signs of being sick. still eats like a champ. I wish I knew how to post pics but every time I try it doesnt come out.
P.S. before you ask, the temps are correct confirmed with temp guns, and is recieving vits and calcium supplements. I have the same conditions on several other beardies, and her cagemates are all staying normal.
