Temp controller and housing

markg Feb 23, 2009 12:42 AM

I made this housing from scrap wood in the garage.

The temperature controller is this little proportional job that is a socket-mount unit. The socket mounts on a DIN rail. The temp probe (thermocouple) connects to a small connector on the back of the housing. Has sensor break protection, and I fused it for overload protection.

Not any better than the herp proportional controllers offered (Helix, Spyder, etc), just fun to mess around with and wire up on my own.

Not bad.

Where do you got that controller ?

May be you should have made the box bigger to accomodate all the length of the controller ?
