Breeding ONE male to TWO females

truch Feb 24, 2009 09:32 PM

1. Is breeding one male to two females a common practice in Retic breeding? I know with Ball Pythons and Chondros it is readily used.

2. If so with retics, how do you go about doing it?

3. Do you put all three in one very large cage?

4. Or do you cycle the male between females?

Thanks, Chad.

One male to two females is fine. This year both my females went off feed at the same time. I put the male in with one female for a couple days, back to his own cage and then in with the other female for a few days. I continued this for a couple weeks. I now have two good clutches in the incubator. They laid exactly four weeks apart. Now the fun part...waiting.
