I have kept adult milk snake pairs and trios together w/o any problems. One issue is eating ,they may grab the same food item and both try to eat it and that can cause some problems.eg cracked ribs or one may become lunch.I wonder if anyone else here have kept them together.

I do it during the breeding season (for me, it's april-may and aug-sept for dbl.clutches). One male with 2 or 3 females, depending on what I'm banking on at the time. Feeding is no issue.
I keep plenty of clean empty shoe boxes gleaned from neighbors throwaways (indoors only). I spritz the inside with common vinegar to disenfect, before and after. Each adult gets a med. df. mouse. If it's not eaten in an hour I'll give it to another campbell or to my 20 yr.old male nigritus waste disposal unit: last resort is back to the freezer.

I've done it and do it, though now my "colony" is only two, both female. They have done great together thus far, for a year.

If you introduce them during Winter, you have a better chance that they will tolerate one another, and maybe they will bond (male and female). Does happen.

Puebs are skittish, so be aware of what is going on. Don't just throw two in a small cage during Spring and Summer and walk away. That is why I suggest Winter when they activity levels are not as high. I've kept Cal kings together this way too.
