Is soft water dangerous?

For years I've gone out of my way to use the tap that wasn't hooked up to our soft water because I didn't know if soft water would be unhealthy to my monitors. This is probably a stupid question, but does anyone know if soft water is dangerous to monitors, especially ones that soak a lot? Thanks.
