I can't wait for these babies!!!!!!!!

sun_king Feb 25, 2009 07:31 AM

This is the one litter I really hope to hit on this year. The male is a genetic striped hypo motley het albino from Big Mike and the girl is an 04 virgin pick of the litter lipstick sunglow from the Burkes. She is @ 7 feet and between 30-35 lbs. I am hoping for a nice big litter here. I wonder how many babies she could have? She is being cooled now and will meet her boyfriend in a few weeks.

Male

Man I love this tail!!!!!!

Female

Check out how big her head is. It is between 3 and 4 fingers wide. This girl is solid muscle!!! So, what do you think these babies will look like? I figure with the Lipstick being crossed with the genetic stripe the babies colors should be AMAZING!!!

I love those Lipsticks. Look at the body color of that snake. Nice. As far as litters go, I believe the Lipsticks are know for having big litters. My eight foot female(never weighed her cause she's too big) had 48 babies last year and three slugs. I would think you'll have a nice litter. And, half Lipstick Sunglow Motleys to boot!! Nice. Best of luck. Mike Panichi

I hope you are right b/c I would love a litter with 10-20 lipstick motley sunglows. I think that would put a smile on my face. I think the red on them is going to be REALLY intense and deep colored. Gotta love that and they will only get better with age!!!

that would be a great litter. Remember though, they would only be half lipstick. Best of luck.

That is true but I think the other half which is genetic stripe would add in extra color. We will see what happens if this litter takes place. I will be willing to bet there will not be any better looking motley sunglows than those in this litter if I am lucky enough to have these babies!!!!!!!

Well hopefully I will have a list to put your name on. I am not trying to get my hopes up yet until there are lil boa's in the cage. Although I really do hope that this litter happens. I am only shooting for 4 pairings and this is the one I want the most with motleybesques het albino's a close second.......

Im thinking you're right, those are gonna be big pretty babies! Looking forward to seeing those! Dan

Do you think it will result in bigger babies with a smaller # of babies or a larger number of regular sized babies? I have never bred a female this size before and was wondering what the outcome would be.
