Are it's limbs, back, head, and overall skeletal structure "normal? If not, it could have had a serious Ca deficiency at a young age.
Also, since it's a male, try breeding it. Maybe it's inheritable much like the "Super" trait is Codominant.
You should contact Ron Tremper. He might express interest in your gecko and being willing to trade you one of his gems for just the chance to breed something like that.
