a coupe years ago i picked up a male that was half the size of a normal baby the same age. the whole time ive had him his tail has never fattened up and he is prob 2/3 the size of his lady's. he eats anything i throw at him crickets, meal worms, super worms, and pinkies but never puts weight on. has any once else experienced this

No. But I do know that Rainwater albinos usually weigh less than other geckos.

Are it's limbs, back, head, and overall skeletal structure "normal? If not, it could have had a serious Ca deficiency at a young age.

Also, since it's a male, try breeding it. Maybe it's inheritable much like the "Super" trait is Codominant.

You should contact Ron Tremper. He might express interest in your gecko and being willing to trade you one of his gems for just the chance to breed something like that.

i know hes not a rain water, and hasnt had a ca def. he looks normal except being on the small side. i have no desire to get rid of him and plan on breeding him myself, and ill try and get pics up

Just a thought, he could have a parasite, that isn't harming him, but maybe preventing him from putting on weight, and or growing more.

Maybe not, but it is just a thought to consider.

Another thought is that, maybe when he was born, he had a gene missing.

Just some thoughts.
