Introducing the Candy Ball

dbherp Feb 26, 2009 12:36 PM

Pete Kahl was cool enough to share this photo of a baby Candy ball with me and said I could post it here for everyone. I'm not involved in this project at all, just sharing the photo.

Congrats Pete!

Makes you wonder what would happen if you bred this into a lavender albino .. If nothing else what would a Lavender Albino Candy look like once you hit the double ?

?????

WOW, look at that pairing! Kick @$$.

Not a combo though. However, I said below, it looks like a Caramel Albino, a Lavender Albino, and VPI's project Burgundy Albino all jumbled up in one snake. It's real pretty in person. Photos don't seem to capture it's color -- the same way it's hard to catch the color of a lavender.

real

paragon...one of a kind.....rumors it died ,it lived, it bred, it didn't...

looks like a faded candy

....really sweet ....

maybe? candy ball is made with sugar and paragon with high fructose corn syrup?

...corn ...would that make it a hybrid (corn ball...joke...bad one)..

.........pic somewhere of paragon......

I don't know, but if anything that combo might make it edible... Not that ball pythons aren't already edible (really bad joke).

Candy Ball ... Toffee Ball... Caramel Ball... all sounds pretty sweet-tasting to me.

Looks like a really nice albino lav with a normal albino head

Bolitochrome Feb 26, 2009 04:54 PM

It does look a lot like a Caramel Glow or a Whitesmoke. I look forward to seeing what this morph can do.

...how about this pic of a baby dominant morph Coral Glow...

rjs73 Feb 26, 2009 09:25 PM

Tracy, isn't your coral glow the same as a banana?

The Candy looks like a banana without the black flecking.
