back in finland, + some OT pics

Got back from australia a few days ago, was an ok trip, but given the circumstances a bit awkward. All my snakes were ok when i got back, a few a bit low on the water side etc etc, but everyone seems fine.

anyway visited a reptile centre in canberra and took a few pictures, so though would share.

and though would ad something funny i found, seeing i left the airport on the same day. I promise it wasnt me

Great carpet python pix. Got any more? The last one is a jungle.

Sad about the guy smuggling snakes. Too bad Oz isnt more open about allowing CBB animals out.

nah all the pics were pretty much of the same snakes.

yeah it serves the guy right getting caught, but the problem is, while they might say in the article, 100k/10yrs fine etc etc, truth is he will end up with like a 5k fine max and a slap on the wrist. So you can see why they trying.

i understand why australia doesnt want to let foreign animals in, ie protecting the fauna and flora from diseases. But really dont understand why they wont export. Not just for reptiles but everything, ie look at kangaroos, they got shot by farmers and culled by the government, yet you can buy a pet one in the UK for 5k etc etc etc. The government would make billions if it was done right.

Last pic is a Jungle carpet python, thanks for sharing!

That article is crazy, I know KE recently posted picks of his het albino carpets so they are certainly in the USA.

And someone did post a few pics of a homo albino very nice animal.

Welcome back! Those are some nice pictures... thanks for sharing! And the article is funny too... thats so crazy you were there the same day!

Some day I'd love to have a pair of Black Headed Pythons.
