I was down at Derek Yagi's today and he asked me to take a couple pics. This animal is just amazing in person. It seriously glows.

WOW!
I think that is the most beautiful boa of any species I have ever seen. . . incredible animal, congratulations.
in my opinion. Something about them that sets them apart. That little girl is really nice. Gus needs to post some of his adults to let everyone see how spectacular they can be.
Sorry if I seem like I'm ranting - just got out of my snake room and was handling Peruvians for a couple of hours and watching my "hopefully" gravid big Peruvian - then I see one on the forums. Leaving my snake room had me pumped up. I'm planning on handling some of WC Surinams tomorrow - I'll probably be just as excited about Surinams...lol.
Seriously - all BCC are incredible!!!!!!!
Take care,
Kevin
I will tell you what...I'm not a Peruvian type of guy, But that is the best Peruvian i seen posted on her in a long time...Cool snake.
Nick - that's a great Peruvian. For some reason it seems you can't capture the yellow glow they can have with a camera. You can see the great red and bold tail it has, though. I switched to photographing carpet pythons, because the yellow does stand out
Nice boa Derek, like a yellow highlighter. Pretty pic too.
