Not too many of us working with but the few that are are pretty passionate, Here's my 3.

I hope there are some babies in the near future and I hate you for seeing one that nice in the wild, any more pics?
Nate
I'm a little insulted this post didn't come up when you helped me probe these snakes Jason lol...
The female pic. and when did you go to Peru? I presume you don't mean Lasalle - Peru because your phone has been off the last few days when I called dieing to know where you were holding that snake.
Gavin those poecilonotus are incredible! One of the last snakes I NEED.
Nate
I am leaving today with a nice case of strep... I got to hold that snake a a few others in the government anti-venom lab. They had non-venomous for education. Lots of neat stuff. The just had some tiger rat babies too.

First shed

That is AWESOME Jason. How the heck did I not know you were in Peru. Sounds sweet. Tiger rats and Pseustes...sounds like they have pretty good taste.
That little one you are shedding is nice looking. I love the orange tails. Bryan caught a nice one in Ecuador. Sounds like you two will have to pee into the wind to see who used their LA time most efficiently.
Very nice looking animal.... what is the proper way to pronounce Pseustes? Dan
I don't know how you are supposed to pronounce it but I say "sue's tees"
The guy at the lab and Gavin (SOLA) both say it the same so it is likely the right way to say it.
The common name is Giant Bird Eater and since this snake was over 9ft I will agree that they are giant for a colubrid.
