Get the snake to a vet who works with herps.

Also, you might want to consider pre-killing the mice from now on, or switching to frozen/thawed mice...

Get a tube of "Triple antibiotic" cream from walmart and lightly cover the eye with it. How long was the mouse in the cage with it? That could be an issue, although sometimes a snake can simply grab it the wrong way. IF it will eat dead food, that's the best way. Most will, but some never will.

It sounds like he will probally be fine. he also could lose that eye. watch for secretions and puss if you see that... veterinarian bro. and try to get him on pre killed or frozen thawed. stiff upper lip, snakes are tough

Carpets are like garbage disposals, he should eat dead almost right away.

I never have and never will feed anything live....Including the stubborn feeders, Once they get hungry enough they eat it!

Also to switch him over, it would be easy to get a live mouse/rat, feed it to him and then offer a Fresh killed one right after the other goes down, takes some inticing but they will take it

I agree. Put some antibiotic oinment on any of the cuts or scrapes or around the eye. Keep the tank really clean and dry too.

and definitely switch to frozen!
